On behalf of all the Members of the Board of 2ND Base Foundation, I want to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to each and every sponsor, participant, organizer, and worker who went out of their way to make this event a success for 2ND Base Foundation and Camp MacLeod. It is important that everyone who participates can understand the significance of this event, and how crucial this fund raiser can be in the construction of facilities and the maintenance of Camp MacLeod. Since this camp is dedicated to be used by children at no cost to them – be they At Risk children, Underprivileged children, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, or Church sponsored Youth groups – it is there for the use and benefit of all children who can come to the facility.
The outpouring support and dedication of each and everyone who has been part of this endeavor is very gratifying, but not surprising with people who are always trying to meet the needs and guidance of children. I can only express our grateful appreciation, and assure you that we will continue doing everything we can to make each dollar raised provide the greatest amount of benefit for those children we are trying to reach.
